RUPANDEHI: Shyamalal Pokhrel has been elected as the Progressive Journalists Association’s Central Committee Chair. Pokharel, who currently resides in Rupandehi, was elected Chair of the Pyuthan Association at the association’s convention in Butwal.
Similarly, Prakash Thapamagar General Secretary, Vinod Poudel Vice Chair, Tara Prasad Sharma Secretary, Gopal Prasad Bhattarai Secretary, Prajwal Pahari Treasurer, Mahesh Rijal Secretariat Member, Narayan Giri, Laxmi Chaudhary, Vidyanath Adhikari, Shankarprasad Pokhrel, Tilak Goale, Mohan Belbase, Jumansingh KC, Jitendra Khatri, Shukra Bhandari, Hari Neupane, Prakash Chhantyal, Hari Kishor Mahato, Tanka Awasthi, Ramesh Poudel, Binod Pariyar, Amir Baskota have been elected as members.

Three founder members, Suman Adhikari, Jeevan Shahi, and Jagdish Dhakal, were honored at the conference.
