KATHMANDU: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, under its social responsibility program on April 5, in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 3 office and Zod Initiative, provided a booth built for shoe menders located in Bansbari, Kathmandu.

The booth’s goal is to provide a comfortable place for local enterprises to conduct business.

Krishna Raj Chalise, Ward Member of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 3, inaugurated the booth.

The booth was handed over to Naresh Mahara, a shoe mender from Bansbari.

Under the bank’s social responsibility program, the bank has set the goal of providing a systematic place for shoe menders and assisting them in earning a living.
