COVID: 80 new COVID-19 cases reported in Nepal

KATHMANDU: According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 80 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed in Nepal in last 24 hours.

According to the MoHP, of the 1,117 people tested, 80 were found to be infected.

According to the ministry, 64 out of 466 people were tested for PCR, and 651 people were tested for antigen infection, which resulted in 16 people being infected.

During the same time period, 12 people were cured of their infection.

30,236 people have been immunized against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Nepal currently has 279 active infected people who have been confirmed by PCR.
