Swarnim established a separate bank account to collect election costs

POKHARA: Swarnim Wagle, a candidate in the by-elections scheduled for the April 23, has set up a separate bank account to collect election expenses.

He stated that a separate account has been established as many well-wishers have expressed a desire to contribute financially to the election.

The Election Commission has set a Rs 31 lakh spending limit for each candidate in that region.

Wagle stated that separate accounts will be used to increase transparency of expenses and income.

He stated that if more money is collected than the specified limit, the government will be notified and the money will be used in accordance with the law.
