Javalakhel advances to top defeating Satdobato

KATHMANDU: Jawalakhel Youth Club has risen to the top of the Shahid Smarak ‘A’ Division Football League.

Fode Fofana and Masoabi Nkoto scored one goal each in Jawalakhel’s victory at the Anfa Complex. Deepak Singh Thakuri of Satdobato scored a goal.
Fofana scored a penalty in the 43rd minute to give Javalakhel the lead.
Jawalakhel led 2-0 when Mosabi scored in the 50th minute. Deepak of Jawalakhel then scored in the 75th minute of the game, but Jawalakhel won 2-1.
This is Jawalakhel’s fourth victory. Satdobato has suffered his second defeat.
With the victory, Jawalakhel now has 13 points in six games.
Satdobato fell to second place with 12 points in six games.
