Govt should take the task of securing the airspace seriously: Pradeep Paudel
He stated that if there is a mistake in management, there will be more accidents in Nepal's airspace, and he questioned the government as to why it is not taken seriously.
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress MP Pradeep Paudel has demanded the government to immediately solve the problems in the country’s airspace.
Speaking at a House of Representatives meeting on Sunday, he noted that serious problems in the country’s air sector had emerged in recent days and urged the government to find a long-term solution.
MP Paudel also warned the government to take the issue seriously, citing the fact that ship wheels fall off, tires must be rented, flights are irregular, and passengers are stranded.
He stated that if there is a mistake in management, there will be more accidents in Nepal’s airspace, and he questioned the government as to why it is not taken seriously.
He also stated that, while every country prioritizes air safety, it is unfortunate that the Nepalese government and related agencies are unaware of the issue.
