Car accident in Phidim: 1 dead, 4 injured

KATHMANDU: A car accident in Phidim of Panchthar killed one person.

Last night, one person died and three others were seriously injured on the Mechi Highway in Kanchi Dokan, Phidim Municipality-3.

Rashmi Bhujel, 18, of Birtamode-1, Jhapa, died in a car accident with the license plate State 1-01-001-Cha 9349, according to the District Police Office Panchthar.

Rashmi was taken to Panchthar Hospital for treatment after being seriously injured, and the doctor declared her dead.

The injured Raju Bhujel, Sita Bhujel, and Leela Bhujel were referred to Jhapa late at night after treatment at Panchthar Hospital was not possible.

A car accident occurred on the way from Taplejung to Jhapa.
