Shangri-la Development Bank’s 18th AGM: Proposed dividend passed

KATHMANDU: Shangri-la Development Bank Limited’s 18th Annual General Meeting has concluded.

According to the proposal of the meeting’s board of directors, Development Bank’s paid-up capital is 8.534 percent of 3 billion 106 million 69 thousand 662 bonus shares and 0.449 percent of the paid-up capital for the purpose of tax payment is 1 million 35 million 22 thousand 213.40 in cash. The dividend distribution proposal was approved.

In addition, the financial statements for the fiscal year 078/79 were approved at the 18th Annual General Meeting.

Six directors representing the founders and general shareholders were elected unopposed at the same general meeting.

Out of which, Ujjwal Satyal Founder Group, Sushil Kaji Baniya Founder Group, Ganga Sagar Dhakal Commons Group, Lisa Sherchan Commons Group, Sujan Siddhi Bajracharya Founders Group and Naresh Dhungana were elected from Commons Group.

The bank currently operates 112 branch offices and 30 ATMs throughout the country. Furthermore, the bank has adhered to best practices in corporate governance, risk management, and internal control systems.
