KATHMANDU: The Police Headquarters has transferred two Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).

The Prime Minister and Home Minister made the decision to transfer them on Friday.

DIG Umeshraj Joshi, who is currently assigned to the Police Crime Investigation Directorate in Naxal, has been transferred to the Lumbini State Police Office in Tulsipur Dang.

Joshi was sent there following the promotion of DIG Tech Prasad Rai.

Similarly, Kiran Rana, who was posted in Bhotahiti Kathmandu and was working in Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office Kathmandu, has been transferred to Bagmati State Police Office Hetauda.
