Xiaomi Nepal initiates Mi-ssion Education

KATHMANDU: Xiaomi, Nepal’s leading smartphone company, has provided educational and health supplies to the Maitreya Foundation and Love Light Society.

Both the Maitreya Foundation and the Love Light Society have orphanages in Godavari. Xiaomi Nepal has been actively involved in creating value and making a positive impact in society by assisting those in need.

Xiaomi contributes to the well-being of the communities in which it operates by supporting areas of society that align with its business offerings and operations.

Xiaomi has taken the lead in organizing various community-benefiting social welfare initiatives.

Xiaomi has donated over 200 school bags, stationery items, footballs, basketballs, masks, and sanitizers to the Maitreya Foundation and Love Light Society in Godavari as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Mr. Amit Kumar Panda, Xiaomi Nepal’s Country General Manager, presented the donations to these organizations.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Amit Kumar Panda, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal said,” The aim is to reach out to as many people as possible and create an inclusive environment for students’ education. We have made it our Mi-ssion education. The campaign will be an ongoing effort wherein the end goal would be ‘education for all’. We believe that CSR is a long-term approach to business that addresses the needs of communities, people and the company”

Xiaomi Nepal is a company that understands its responsibilities to the society in which it operates and believes in giving back to the community and spreading happiness.
