Swarnim declares separation from NC

KATHMANDU: Economist Dr Swarnim Wagle has announced that he has separated from the Nepali Congress.

Writing a status on social media some time ago, he announced that he has separated from the Congress.

Dr. Wagle, a well-known economist who understands the global economy, served twice on the National Planning Commission, under Prime Ministers Sushil Koirala and Sher Bahadur Deuba.

He has stated that he has decided to separate from the Nepali Congress, stating that his family has been involved with the Nepali Congress since the Satyagraha movement in 2042 and for 50 years.

He made direct contributions to the Nepali Congress in economic policy and planning, intellectual-theoretical debate, and training.

Such is the declaration of Dr. Wagle
