The Ministry has asked the general public to conduct the test for coronavirus if an individual has developed the symptoms of fever, cough, sneezing, running nose, headache, sore throat, loss of smell and tiredness.
In the recent past days, the number of COVID-19 patients has sharply increased after the surge in coronavirus infection in neighbouring India’s Uttar Pradesh.
On Tuesday, 24 new cases of coronavirus were reported while carrying out 1,429 sample tests against 69 new cases on Monday.
Currently, the country has 78 active cases of the virus.
Likewise, the Ministry of Health and Population has also urged all to receive booster dose for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
