Sunrise Bank observed Global Money Week by conducting financial literacy across the country

KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank observed Global Money Week 2023 by implementing 100 financial literacy programs across all seven states, from Tehrathum in the east to Darchula in the west.

The bank successfully celebrated Global Money Week 2023 by implementing various programs and disseminating information through its branches across the country and social media.

To coincide with this year’s Global Money Week slogan, “Plan Your Money, Plan Your Future,” the bank has organized a financial literacy program involving young people from 100 different locations across the country, covering topics such as banking services, savings, loans, electronic banking services, and precautions to be taken.

The bank believes that this program will contribute to the financial prosperity of young people and their families by increasing financial literacy awareness, developing financial decision-making ability, developing saving habits at a young age, correct use of banking services, and reducing problems and frauds that can be caused by disclosing banking information to others.

Sunrise Bank has served over 8 lakh customers through 139 branches, 100 branchless banking services, 13 extension counters, and 162 ATMs.
