KATHMANDU: Slogans were raised against MP and Chief Whip of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Gyanendra Bahadur Shahi who went to Maitighar Mandala to meet meter badge victims.

Slogans were hurled at him, who had arrived just moments before to show solidarity with the victims’ movement.

They said that they do not want the support of the party leader who has feudalistic thinking. They began chanting slogans as soon as Shahi reached.

Activist Sangharsh Dahal informed that meter badge also belongs to feudalism and Gyanendra Shahi was also boycotted because he belonged to the same party.

Meanwhile, meter badge victims have also boycotted the support of Durga Prasai.

Prasai tried to help in the morning, but they did not help, says Dahal.
