KATHMANDU: The victims of meter badges have reached near the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

They walked from Bardibas to Kathmandu on Monday, the 12th day, and arrived in the morning at Baluwatar.

The police stopped them in Bhatbhateni, where they were planning a sit-in protest outside the PM residence.

Despite numerous assurances from the government, no action has been taken against meter badge, and they have not received justice, but they are now adamant that they will not return home until the problem is resolved.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City police stopped meter interest victims from entering the open forum on Monday.

They claimed that the vehicle transporting their rations was also seized by police and returned only late at night.

The RSP’s President, Rabi Lamichhane, has expressed solidarity with the victims.

Rabi stated that he is on the side of the victims after meeting them when they arrived in Baluwatar.
