KATHMANDU: The meter badge victim, who reached Kathmandu after walking for 11 days from Bardibas in Mahottari, stayed at the Matatirtha Temple complex on Sunday and arrived at Khulha Manch on Monday after marching.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City locked the gate and refused them entry to Khulla Manch when they arrived.

They have expressed their sorrow that Madhesi Mayor Balendra Sah did not understand the Madhesi people’s feelings and was unable to provide shelter to the victims.

They are now sitting at the Khulla Manch gate, holding a protest program with slogans in response to the demand to enter the Khulla Manch.

Eighty-five meter-busting victims came to Kathmandu on Sunday via Chandranigahpur, Hetauda, ​​Bhimphedi and Chandragiri.

They have a team of 92 including 7 leaders. They said that they will not return until the government solves the problem caused by meter interest.
