KATHMANDU: The top leaders of the three power-sharing parties have given the cabinet a complete agreement by tomorrow.

This morning, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ President of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Chair of the CPN Unified Socialist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal agreed to meet.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, a meeting of ten parties will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m., and a decision will be made to complete the Cabinet.

The plan for ministry allocation has been prepared following an informal discussion between the top leaders of the alliance’s four main parties, Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Centre, CPN Unified Socialist Party, and Janata Samajwadi Party.

According to this, Congress is expected to participate in government with 8 ministries. The CPN-Maoist Centre has agreed to retain five ministries, including the Prime Minister’s position.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been given three ministries by the government. RSP has agreed to leave the Ministry of Home Affairs to join the government.

Even though Janata Samajwadi has been claiming three ministries, a blueprint has been prepared to give two ministries, while CPN Unified Socialist Party has also claimed three ministries, but a blueprint has been prepared to give two ministries, sources say.

Preparations have been made to make the LSP, Janamat Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party participate in the government with one ministry each.

Aam Janata Party led by Prabhu Shah will also enter the government, while the Nepal Samajwadi Party led by Baburam Bhattarai will also enter the government. Independent MP Amresh Kumar Singh is also wanting to join the government. However, the Rastriya Jana Morcha, a party in the ruling coalition, will not participate in the government.
