Tipper crushed one to death in Birendranagar

KATHMANDU: One person has died after being run over by a tipper in Birendranagar.

The driver died after being crushed by a tipper near Tarebhir in Birendranagar Municipality-1.

The District Police Office Surkhet reported that 32-year-old driver Umesh BK, a resident of Birendranagar-2 Tempo Park, died when tipper Bhe 1 Kha 2005 carrying stones for the construction of the road from Bangesimal to the landfill site overturned.

The police team has reached at the scene and is removing the tipper and driver with the assistance of a crane, according to the police.
