KATHMANDU: The extreme disappointment of the people, according to Nepali Congress MP Shekhar Koirala, is a failure of the political system.
He stated that the country is currently embroiled in an unimaginable conflict.
He also claimed that a social, cultural, and moral crisis had occurred.
During a special session of the House of Representatives, he stated that the democratic system expects moral values from its citizens. He stated that if politics is not founded on ethics, the system will collapse.
He claimed that images of Nepalis standing in lines for fertilizer, passports, and foreign employment confirmed the country’s political failure.
He said that the tax payers and poor eaters are all disappointed. He said that all Nepali people from all regions are frustrated and depressed, which is an example of the country’s economy.
He stated that the country’s economy cannot be sustained for long by remittances and that an alternative must be found.
He stated that because the World Cold War will have an impact on remittances entering Nepal, an alternative must be found immediately.
He stated that while obtaining a vote of confidence is simple, maintaining or sustaining it is more difficult.
He stated that there is a situation in which we must take out loans not only for capital but also for current expenses. He stated that all political parties should come together to reduce wasteful spending.
