Newly appointed police chief Kunwar given a insignia

KATHMANDU: Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, the newly appointed Chief of Nepal Police (Inspector General of Police – IGP), has been given a insignia.

Home Ministry Secretary Binod Prakash Singh presented the badge to Kunwar on Sunday.

Kunwar was appointed as IGP at a cabinet meeting on Friday.

The newly appointed Inspector General Kunwar has stated that the purification of the police force will be a top priority during his tenure.
