ITAHARI: Everest Youth Club Morang has won the title of Itahari Gold Cup.
Sagarmatha won the title for the second time after defeating newcomer A Division club Church in the penalty shootout by 6-5 in the final match held at Itahari Stadium today.

Sagarmatha managed to win the title for the second time in a row after Church Boys’ Manoj Rai’s shot was deflected.
Sagarmatha, who entered the field with most of the players from the newcomer A Division club Khumaltar, received 10 lakhs in cash along with the title, and the runner-up Church Boys received 500,000.
Captain Mahindra Karki of Everest was declared the best player of the tournament and received 1 lakh in cash.
