EuroCup Qualifiers: Spain’s winning start

KATHMANDU: Spain got off to a winning start on Saturday in qualifying for Euro 2024. Spain easily beat Norway 3-0.

Spain’s first goal came from Dani Olmo in the game in Malaga, and Joselu added two more in his first game. In addition, Luis de la, the new coach of Spain, has begun to have success.

Spain will now take on Scotland, a three-time European champion. The following game in Group ‘A’ saw Scotland defeat Cyprus 3-0.

Other results included victories for Turkey over Armenia (2-1), Switzerland over Belarus (5-0), and Romania over Andorra (2-0).
