KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives meeting is sitting today. The meeting will be held at the Federal Parliament Building at 1 pm.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” will propose that the “Constitutional Council Work, Duties, Rights and Procedures (First Amendment) Bill, 2079” be discussed during the meeting.

A proposal for the “Investigation of Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment) Bill, 2079” is on the agenda, and the prime minister himself is expected to submit it.

Dr. Bharatraj Gautam, the Federal Parliament’s general secretary, announced during the meeting that it was on the agenda to offer condolences for the passing of Ganesh Prasad Bimali, who was chosen as a proportional representative from the Nepali Congress in the March 21 Constituent Assembly election.
