RSP’s decides to field candidates in all 3 by-election areas
The RSP has declared that it will run candidates in the upcoming by-elections in Bara 2, Tanahun 1, and Chitwan 2.
KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is going to field candidates in all the 3 by-election areas.
The Central Committee meeting held on Friday decided to nominate candidates in all the three areas for the by-elections to be held on April 23.
The RSP has declared that it will run candidates in the upcoming by-elections in Bara 2, Tanahun 1, and Chitwan 2.
The meeting has also formed the election mobilization committee in all the 3 regions where the by-elections will be held.
Coordinators have been assigned in Chitwan by Vice President Dol Prasad Aryal, Joint Minister of Tanahun Kabindra Burlakoti, and Bara Ganesh Karki.
RSP’s President Rabi Lamichhane will run for office in Chitwan 2, but Tanahun 1 and Bara 2 have no candidates chosen yet.
According to RSP General Minister Mukul Dhakal, RSP will soon decide on the candidates for these two positions as well.
He declared, “Without any alliance, we will fight the election alone.”
