KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has instructed the newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar to work in favor of the country and the people without getting into controversy.
This directive was given to Kunwar by the Prime Minister, who was also in charge of the Home Ministry, when Kunwar went to see him after being named IGP.

Additionally, he offered congratulations and best wishes for a fruitful tenure to the newly appointed IGP.
At the Council of Ministers meeting on Friday, Kunwar was named IGP.
