Ojha elected as Chair of Rural Municipality Federation of Gandaki

POKHARA: UML’s Nawaraj Ojha has been elected as the chair of the Federation of Gandaki Rural Municipality.
The meeting of 58 rural municipality chairs and vice chairs elected Rupa Rural Municipality Chair Ojha as the president.
Hiradevi Sharma, the chair of the Modi Rural Municipality from the UML, as well as Jokalal Budha, the president of the Tamankhola Rural Municipality from the Congress, as well as Sita Adhikari, the vice chair of the Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality, were elected as vice presidents.
Treasurer has been chosen as Deepak Timilsina, Chair of the CPN-Gandaki Maoist’s Rural Municipality. According to the federation’s constitution, each party is represented by a chair and vice chair, a secretary and joint secretary, and a treasurer for the third party.
