Every year, Global IME Bank gives the promotion of regional art, culture, and tradition top billing in its calendar.
Dhakal, the bank’s chair, said during his speech at the event that we can support the appreciation of artists and the promotion of mandala painting by using the new calendar.
He said that Global IME Bank is committed to promoting folk, art, culture, and artists in the future, noting that the bank has been actively involved in the effort to spread original but under-promoted culture within the nation since its inception.
The mandala painting created by two painters who have been active in painting for twenty years, Bairaja Shakya and Nwang Lama, was informed that it has been included in the calendar by Bajracharya, the bank’s chief executive officer.
He claimed that their goal is to honor the contributions of artists while promoting Nepal’s original mandala paintings through calendars all over the nation.
He said, “We hope that this will promote the painting industry and preserve the local artworks and culture. It is our effort to integrate the mandala artworks that are scattered.”
The artists thanked the bank in the program for selecting a mandala painting as the calendar. Bank Chair Dhakal recognized the artists at this time as well.
