Jammarkattel, Bagmati CM, receives a vote of confidence

KATHMANDU: Shalikram Jamarkattel, the state’s Chief Minister, gets a vote of confidence from the Bagmati State Assembly on Friday.

Chief Minister Jammarkattel received the vote of confidence of 67 MPs.

67 votes were cast in favor of Jammarkattel’s proposal in the State Assembly to get a vote of confidence.

There are 17 votes in opposition and 7 votes in favor of not voting.

The number of MPs in the state assembly is 91.

After the CPN-UML withdrew its support and left the government, Chief Minister Kattel took the vote of confidence.
