Only 31% of families are women

KATHMANDU: It has been discovered that women head 31% of all families residing in Nepal.

There are currently 66 lakh 66 thousand 937 families in Nepal, according to the results of the National Census 2078, which were made public on Friday.

Among them, women head 31.55 percent of the families.

Housewives are defined as those who are managing the affairs of the family and are at least 10 years old at the time of the census.
