Gold price surges, silver remains stable
Gold was bought and sold at Rs 109,000 per tola earlier on Thursday.

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has increased by Rs 800 in the Nepalese market on Friday.
The price of gold increased by 800 rupees on Friday to 109,800 rupees per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers.
Gold was bought and sold at Rs 109,000 per tola earlier on Thursday.
Similar to that, the price per tola for Tejabi gold is 109,300 rupees.
Tejabi gold was traded at 108,500 rupees per tola on Thursday.
The previous record price is only Rs 200 per tola higher than this one.
Last Sunday, gold prices were able to maintain record highs.
The cost of gold rose by 2,900 rupees on that day. Gold traded at 101,000 rupees per tola on that day.
On Thursday and Friday, respectively, the price of gold increased by Rs. 1200 and Rs. 800 per tola. Silver’s cost has remained constant.
Silver is currently being traded at the same price it was on Thursday when it was bought and sold at Rs 1360 per tola.
