Wife dies after being physically assaulted by husband

POKHARA: The wife in Syangja died after being beaten by her husband.
On Feb 5, Kamala was beaten by her husband, Laxmi Prasad Neupane, and brother-in-law, Keshav Raj Neupane.
She was severely beaten and died while undergoing treatment.
The villagers discovered she was unconscious from the beating after 15 hours and took her to the hospital for treatment.
After receiving general treatment in Pokhara, Kamala was transferred to Norvic Hospital.
The police have already arrested and prosecuted both individuals involved in the assault.
On March 17, the District Court in Syangja released her brother-in-law Keshav Raj on a Rs 200,000 bail and remanded her husband Laxmi Prasad to the district jail.
