One dies in bus collision in Mustang

POKHARA: A bus collision in Mustang killed one person. Khinumaya Shrestha of Tanahun was killed when a bus carrying the number 1 B 2754 collided with him in Varagung Muktichhetra Rural Municipality-3 Chhusang.

According to police, 76-year-old Shrestha, who was seriously injured in the accident, died on the way to Beni Hospital for treatment.

Similarly, another woman was injured in a collision with bus number Ba 4 Kha 8917 while traveling from Muktinath to Jomsom. Karthik Gurung, 51, of Varagung Muktichhetra Rural Municipality-1 Khinga, was hurt.

He was transferred to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment after receiving general treatment in Jomsom.
