JANAKPURDHAM: Nine people who went to vote with fake cards have been arrested in the elections of Free Student Union (FSU) of Ramswaroop Ramsagar Multiple Campus campus in Janakpurdham.
Police officers working on election day arrested 9 bogus voters. They have been transported to the district police station. It is claimed that those arrested are Nepal Student Union (NSU) students.
Students from the five-party alliance are demonstrating that the NSU Association is attempting to rig the system.
They demand strict punishment for those arrested, as well as fair elections.
The election on this campus was co-ordinated by JSP, UML, Maoist Centre, CPN Unified Socialists, and RPP close student organizations.
