Woman drowns to death in Tamor river

DHANKUTA: One person drowned in the Tamor river in Dhankuta, Dhankuta.

A woman drowned in Tamor river, which is located in Dhankuta Municipality-9.

The deceased has been identified as Masini BK, 45 of Dhankuta Municipality-9.

According to police, she drowned after slipping while washing clothes in the river.

The body has been sent to District Hospital Dhankuta for autopsy and further investigation is being carried out in connection with the incident, District Police Office Dhankuta said.
