Ghanshyam Bhusal as General Secretary of CPN Unified Socialists

KATHMANDU: CPN Unified Socialist Party has decided to make Ghanshyam Bhusal the general secretary.
This decision was taken at the 53rd meeting of the secretariat held at the party office Aloknagar on Sunday.
General Secretary Dr. Beduram Bhusal was nominated as Vice Chair at the same meeting, according to Deputy General Secretary and Head of Propaganda Department Jagannath Khatiwada.
At the same meeting, four central vice-chairs of the party, Ghanendra Basnet, Kedar Neupane, Dharmanath Prasad Shah, and Keshablal Shrestha, were unanimously elected to the party’s central secretariat, bringing the total to 19.
At the same meeting, it was decided to give the government a vote of confidence, and the party will be on the ruling side of the parliament.
Khatiwada, the department’s head, informed reporters that he has decided to continue the discussion about the party’s entry into government.
