HoR meeting: NC ruling party & UML opposition bench from today (with photos)

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has begun its meeting.

The meeting began in New Baneshwor at the Federal Parliament Building.

The ruling party Congress and the CPN-UML sat on the opposition bench at today’s meeting.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who was appointed Prime Minister on Dec 25, was initially backed by the UML when the Congress was in opposition.

The leaders of the parties are saying that the Speaker postponed the Parliament session on March 1, after both CPN-UML and Nepali Congress tried to sit on the opposition bench. After that, the meeting was held today after the presidential and vice-presidential elections were over.
