Voting begins at Mahendra Morang Campus (photos included)
More than 7,000 students are studying in this old campus, which is an official campus of TU.

BIRATNAGAR: The Free Students Union (FSU) election in the constituent and affiliated campuses including the Central Campus of the Tribhuvan University (TU) is currently underway.
Voting began today at 8:00 a.m. on 60 constituent campuses and over 1,000 affiliated campuses across the country.
The voting will take place until 4:00 p.m., according to Pashupati Adhikari, director of the Directorate of Student Welfare and Sports.
The students enthusiastically participated in the FSU elections, which began after fourteen years.
Students have been queuing and voting since the morning. FSU elections, which are held every two years, have not been held on a regular basis since 2065.
Similarly, voting has also begun at Biratnagar’s Mahendra Morang Adarsh Multipurpose Campus.
More than 7,000 students are studying in this old campus, which is an official campus of TU.
There are 5,790 students on the list of eligible voters in this election.
