Haaland’s hat-trick puts City in semi-finals

City advanced to the fourth round after defeating Championship club Burnley 6-0 on Saturday night.
In City’s convincing victory, Erling Haaland scored three goals. Julian Alvarez had two goals and Cole Palmer had one.
Haaland scored in the 32nd minute to give City an early lead. He scored his second goal in the 35th minute to put City up 2-0. He completed his hat-trick in the 59th minute of the game, increasing City’s lead to three goals.
Haaland’s hat-trick was his second in five days. He scored a hat-trick against RB Leipzig in the Champions League this week.
Alvarez’s goal in the 62nd minute extended City’s lead to 4-0.
Palmer’s goal in the 68th minute put City up 5-0.
Then, in the 73rd minute, Alvarez scored his second personal goal, and City went on to win 6-0.
