Congress Working Committee and Parliamentary Party meeting taking place
The meeting will include a discussion about giving Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal a vote of confidence.
KATHMANDU: The Central Executive Committee of the Nepali Congress will meet this morning (Sunday).
The Executive Committee meeting will be held at 10 a.m., according to Congress Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
The meeting will include a discussion about giving Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal a vote of confidence. With the formation of a new power coalition following the departure of the CPN-UML, RPP, and Rastriya Swatantra Party from the government, the Prime Minister must call a vote of confidence.
Similarly, the meeting of the Congress parliamentary party is also going to be held today.
The parliamentary party meeting is scheduled for 12 noon in the Lhotse Hall of the Parliament Building.
The Nepali Congress ruling party and the CPN-UML opposition parties are prepared to sit on the House of Representatives bench at 1 p.m. today.
After both parties claimed that they would sit on the opposition bench in the House of Representatives meeting on March 1, the meeting was adjourned until today.
