Active COVID-19 infections are on rise

KATHMANDU: Active COVID-19 infections have been discovered to be on the rise once more.
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health and Population, active infections are increasing daily for the past few days.
Since March 10, the number of active infected people has been increasing on a daily basis.
There are five active infections on March 10, five on March 11, fifteen on March 12, sixteen on March 13, seventeen on March 14, and nineteen on March 15.
There are only six new infections and 20 active infections today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Dr. Chumanlal Das, Director of Epidemiology and Communicable Disease Control Division, stated that as the infection spreads in India, so does the active infection in Nepal.
The ministry has instructed everyone to apply an additional booster dose for COVID-19 prevention and control.
A campaign is now underway to distribute booster doses throughout the valley.
