Suyog Shrestha appointed as Chair of Development Bankers Association
The 17th annual general meeting of the association held in Chitwan on Friday unanimously elected Shrestha and other officials.
KATHMANDU: Suyog Shrestha has been elected as the Chair of Development Bankers Association Nepal.
Shrestha, who was elected to the Bankers Association, is the Chief Executive Officer of Shangri-la Development Bank.
The 17th annual general meeting of the association held in Chitwan on Friday unanimously elected Shrestha and other officials.
Bodhraj Devkota, CEO of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, Vice Chair, Ram Kumar Giri, CEO of Sindhu Bikas Bank, Secretary, Naresh Singh Bohra, CEO of Lumbini Bikas Bank, were elected along with Chairman Shrestha.
Similarly, Sign Resunga Development Bank CEO Prakash Paudel, Jyoti Bikas Bank CEO Srichandra Bhatt and Excel Development Bank CEO Dr. Indra Kattel have been selected as members.
The newly appointed working committee officials have also taken their oaths.
The Association’s 17th Annual General Meeting unanimously passed resolutions including the audit report for fiscal year 2078/079, the chair’s report, the estimated income and expenditure for fiscal year 2079/080, and the appointment of auditors.
