KATHMANDU: A sick member of parliament came from the hospital in an ambulance to vote in the presidential election.

Mohammad Abdul Kalam Azad, Madhesh State Assembly Member and Minister of State for Social Development for the People’s Socialist Party, cast his vote at the Parliament House in New Baneshwor after riding in an ambulance from the trauma center where he was being treated.

He was taken to the Parliament building in an ambulance, strapped to a stretcher.
