35 public holidays in the year 2080 (list included)

KATHMANDU: The government plans to make 35 days in 2080 public throughout the country. From 2080 Baisakh 1 to end of Chaith, a total of 35 days of public holidays will be granted.

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced in the gazette on Thursday that there will be 35 public holidays throughout the year, including Saturdays, various festivals, days, and birthdays.

The longest holiday will be six days during Dashain and five days during Tihar.
