Nepal’s first Chief Justice Hari Prasad is not Pradhan: Oli

KATHMANDU: KP Sharma Oli, the chair of the CPN-UML, has stated that the first Chief Justice of Nepal, Hari Prasad, is not Pradhan.

He stated that Pradhan was not the first Chief Justice of Nepal, but rather Juddha Shumsher’s son.

In a discussion with law students at Nepal Law Campus on Sunday, he said that the history of law has been wrongly taught.

“You may have read in law books that the first Chief Justice of Nepal is Hari Prasad Pradhan, but no, the first Chief Justice of Nepal is the son of Juddha Shumsher,” he explained.
