Incentive award to 16 players of Nepal National Cricket team by NMB Bank
The bank believes that the cash prize will also motivate them to perform better in today's match.
KATHMANDU: NMB Bank has announced to give 21000 rupees as honor and encouragement to 16 members of the participating team for their excellent performance in World Cricket League 2.
Mr. Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer of the bank, stated in this regard, “Players are the national pride. We took this step to show respect and encouragement to 16 talented players, knowing that only by keeping the players’ morale high will the players’ and the sports world’s progress be possible.”
After winning 18 matches in the total of 35 matches of this World Cricket League-2 which started from 2019, Nepal is facing UAE in the final match today. If Nepal wins today’s match, Nepal will automatically qualify for the global qualifiers, where they will also have the opportunity to play against various test nations for the first time.
The bank believes that the cash prize will also motivate them to perform better in today’s match.
The bank’s executive officer stated that the prize money will be opened in the names of all 16 players and transferred through that account.
