Nepal’s ranking improves, climbs above Namibia

KATHMANDU: Nepal has improved in the new ODI rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Nepal has climbs up one position in the latest ICC ranking.

In addition, Nepal has risen to 16th place, trailing Namibia. Nepal was previously ranked seventeenth. Following Nepal, Namibia is ranked 17th, America is ranked 18th, the UAE is ranked 19th, and Papua New Guinea is ranked 20th.

Prior to Nepal, Oman is ranked 15th, the Netherlands is ranked 14th, Zimbabwe is ranked 13th, and Scotland is ranked 12th. India is the leader, followed by Australia, New Zealand, and England.

Before playing League-2 with Scotland and Namibia at home, Nepal, which was in 19th place, improved itself by three places by winning 10 games in the following 11 games.
