KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel took the oath of office and secrecy at a special ceremony organized at Sheetal Niwas on Monday.

Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki administered the oath to Poudel.

Outgoing President Bidya Devi Bhandari handed over her chair to the newly elected President following the inauguration ceremony.
