President Ram Chandra Poudel takes the oath of office [LIVE]

KATHMANDU: The special swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed President Ram Chandra Poudel has begun.

Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki took the oath of office on Monday afternoon during a special ceremony at Rastrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ also presented a gift on behalf of the government to outgoing President Bhandari.
