Bidy Devi Bhandari’s tenure, according to Raut, was a success
He said, 'President Bidya Devi Bhandari is leaving today after serving as the National President for seven years.
KATHMANDU: Chair of Janamat Party Dr. CK Raut has said that the tenure of President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been successful. He said that President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s tenure was successful through the social network Facebook.
He said, ‘President Bidya Devi Bhandari is leaving today after serving as the National President for seven years. Although we have had some disagreements regarding the Citizenship Bill recently, he has completed his tenure with success, responsibility and good faith.’
President Raut mentioned that the position of the President is a source of inspiration in itself and said that a person born in a common people’s house in a village, even more so a single female President, is an inspiration for all Nepalis.
He said, ‘Being the only female head of state is an inspiration for all Nepalis, this is the beauty of the republican system. Moreover, children of ordinary poor people like us can go to the President’s residence, talk to them directly, or even be invited to a refreshment ceremony.
He also wished Ram Chandra Poudel, the third president of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, a successful tenure.
