National Commercial Bank & NepalRemit signs an agreement

KATHMANDU: National Commercial Bank Limited and NepalRemit International Private Limited reached an agreement regarding payment via the foreign remittance banking channel. on Friday.
Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, and Sagar Khanal, Chief Executive Officer of NepalRemit, signed the agreement.
Following the agreement, the amount sent through Nepal Remit via the banking channel from various locations around the world will be easily paid to the concerned person in Nepal via the bank’s branch offices in accordance with the rules.
It is expected that this will help Nepal earn more foreign currency.
The agreement program included Saraswati Adhikari, deputy chief executive officer of the bank, Durga Kandel, deputy executive officer, Rishiram Dhakal, head of payment and flow department, and Dev Bahadur Thapa, deputy general manager of Nepal Remit.
Currently, the bank operates 265 branch offices, 46 extension counters, 269 ATMs, and 99 branchless banking services in all 7 states and 77 districts, as well as QR code service, PIAS service, credit card, DAVID card, Connect IPS, Smart QR Teller (withdrawal of check amount), internet banking, advanced mobile banking, and GKM mobile banking services without internet.
